RE: Leaky Plumbing & Winter Living Prep Questions

Yes on both the silicone (or any other appropriate sealant but NOT plumbers putty) and running the furnace constantly with one caveat, be sure to have a Carbon Monoxide sensor (your rv did not come with one). We lost an in-law due to Co poisoning in an RV. Great advice

RE: Air Conditioner

What brand of air con do you have? We went with the Impecca and honestly i have no regrets about it. Unfortunately we lost all the books from the unit, but i was able to find Impecca ISAJ1821B1S manual online online without hustle. The most thing which i like about it - it is very and very quiet, practically i don't hear you, especially after our old unit, which was incredible loud all the time. So far, i didn't have to do any repairs, just cleaning it from time to time.

RE: Oh,Oh, Soft Floor !

When addressing potential rot in the wall of your RV, such as fiberglass-coated hardboard, follow these steps: Assessment: Inspect and remove any rot. Replace: Use suitable materials like pressure-treated plywood or Douglas fir for damaged areas. Adhesive Bonding: Apply RTV162 white adhesive to bond new and existing materials. Reattach: Securely reattach the fiberglass hardboard. Seal: Seal seams and gaps to prevent future water infiltration. For extensive damage or uncertainty, consider consulting an RV repair specialist.

RE: Semana Santa

Going to visit it next year with the new RV , which will arrive in the middle of January. I read already a lot about Mexico, stories from other travelers and even an article on how to have amazing camper holidays http://metapress.com/how-to-have-amazing-camper-holidays/ , so this time i think we are completely ready for the trip. I still don't have the exact route planned, but i guess we have enough time to do that. Plus i am opened to all the suggestions from the people, which we will meet on our way.

RE: Fun in the snow...

My Polaris (General) is still on the truck after coming home a couple days ago after a few days of riding at the Oregon Coast. Been too busy plowing and shoveling to unload it....besides, it's now covered with snow too. Probably should just leave it and hitch the trailer back up and head to warm(er) Southern Arizona. I am thinking to buy a polaris too. Would you recommend a particular model? Also what extra things do i need to buy for winter from these off road accessories? I never owed a UTV or ATV and have no idea what i might need in the future. If i am going to keep it in the garage, do i still need a cover?

RE: Wifi a long way away from RV site.

Wifi adapters is often waste of money from my experience. We always carried them around and it never worked properly. In one of the campsite i had to finish a big project but without a good internet connection it wasn't even possible. AT the end i found paper writing company https://domypaper.com/, who did the job for me. At the end i was actually happy that i can enjoy my vacation and not to spend time in front of my computer.

RE: Keep a Word Change a Word, Part II.

moments before Playing this game made me realize how poor my vocabulary actually is. In college i was always using service which could write my papers for me https://academized.com/writing-services/write-my-paper and now i really feel that. Of course i would do it again and again to avoid too much stress, still need to read some more books probably.

RE: Full-Time Alaska TT Living

Just following. Tons of great tips here. If i think about my future, i always imagine myself traveling the world with my kiddos and a newer RV. I already found a website where they writing papers for money https://paperfellows.com/papers-for-money and my goal would be to join their team. This kinda of job probably doesn't pay a fortune, still i can provide for my family without spending 40 hours a week in a boring office.

RE: Solar panel

Figuring out if your solar panel is pulling its weight is key. ?? Here's the deal: if you've got a 200 watts solar panel, there are a few easy ways to check if it's doing the hustle. First off, keep an eye on your battery. If it's charging up like a champ and holding a solid charge, that's a good sign. A working solar panel should be giving your battery a nice boost. Second, take a peek at your charge controller. It's like the solar panel's personal traffic cop. It'll show you how much juice your panel is sending to the battery. If the numbers are dancing around that 200 watts range, you're golden! Another sneaky trick is to use a voltmeter. Check the voltage of your battery before and after the sun does its thing. If it's higher after, your solar panel is pulling its weight. And don't forget the sun dance! Seriously, if your panel is in the sun and you're not seeing any action, that's a red flag. It's like a sign saying, "Hey, something's not right here!" So, there you go. Battery charging, charge controller info, voltmeter readings, and the sun's approval. Keep an eye on these cues, and you'll know if that 200 watts solar panel is the superstar it's meant to be. Stay sunny!

RE: Cure for depresion

Good time spending is good cure for depression. I had depression back in the days (maybe not the real one) and tried to cope with that by myself only. I found some new hobbies and did a lot of sports : cycling, crossfit, everything what keeps my body occupied is good for the brain too. Now I allow myself to play casino games ??????? ufabet ?????? once a week and that's my way of relaxing and doing something for myself only.

RE: Rocket exhaust from diesel regen

While some individuals have reported issues, the risk can be minimized with proper precautions. One solution you might explore is an electric exhaust cutout. This allows you to control exhaust flow, potentially reducing the intensity of exhaust directed towards your TT or FW during regen. Banks claims their Monster Exhaust, with a side delivery design, can prevent exhaust-related issues. However, it's always wise to consider real-world experiences from fellow RV owners. Check forums or reach out to other Duramax owners to gather firsthand feedback and insights. With careful driving practices and possibly an exhaust cutout or alternative exhaust system, you can likely enjoy your new truck and protect your TT or FW without worries. Safe travels!

RE: 2023 Power Stroke vs 2023 Ram Cummins Towing Challenge

It's fascinating to see the 2023 Power Stroke and 2023 Ram Cummins in a towing challenge. Both engines are known for their towing capabilities and performance. However, if you're looking to enhance the performance of your 6.7 Power Stroke, you might consider the ccv mod 6.7 powerstroke (Crankcase Ventilation Mod). This modification can improve the engine's efficiency and longevity by reducing oil and soot buildup in the intake system.
